Founded in 1910, the Village Improvement Society of Saranac Lake owns and maintains 7 community parks, including Vest Pocket Park, Beaver Park, Denny Park, Dorsey Park, the Triangle and Riverbank Park, Sunset Park and the Herb Garden. We also provide the beautiful hanging baskets in downtown Saranac Lake and care for flowerbeds and planters throughout the Village.
